thoughtful medicine for complex stories

Whole Body Naturopathic Care

Our bodies hold a timeline. A symptom here, a shift there. Not always urgent, but not quite right either. Often we sense that something needs attention, not just reassurance or being told “everything is normal”. Those signs of dysfunction offer a window into our bodies, and that is worth caring for.

Naturopathic care at Cove offers space to explore what’s been overlooked. Together, we make sense of the patterns, the changes, and the pieces that haven’t quite added up. This is care that listens closely, considers the whole picture, and moves at the pace of real healing.

No matter where you're starting, we’ll work together to find the why beneath your symptoms, finding a path forward that feels grounded and achievable.

 Our Role in Your Care

In a system where most appointments are measured in minutes, we take a different approach. We take the time to hear your story and connect the dots. Whether you're coming in for support with digestion, hormones, fatigue, or you’re simply tired of guessing and advocating, we work together to uncover the root of your concerns, and create a care plan that feels both grounded and possible.

While primary care is essential, it often doesn’t leave space to explore patterns, nuances, or early signs of dysfunction. That’s where I come in. Whether you’re seeking a second perspective, alternatives to treatment recommendations, or guidance through subtle shifts in energy, digestion, or cycle health, we offer the time and tools to support you.

We also provide wellness-focused care, offering alternatives to antibiotics when appropriate, natural options for overcoming illness, or support through seasonal transitions.

 How we heal together

You deserve to feel better.

Gather information

Our first visit together is 60 minutes. During that time we will discuss the timeline of your health journey and the details of your medical history. We may also utilize comprehensive lab testing.

Personalized Treatment

With each visit, we will adjust our plan to best align with our goals. This may include targeted supplementation, herbal medicine, and treatment plan refinement.

Continued Care & Support

We are complicated beings, and healing takes time. Our goal is always to build resilience in your body, to prevent recurrence of symptoms. Long term sustainability of our plan is top priority.

Common Conditions

We commonly work with:

  • Digestive issues (IBS, bloating, SIBO)

  • Hormonal concerns (PMS, PCOS, irregular cycles, perimenopause)

  • Fertility and preconception care

  • Thyroid and adrenal support

We also see patients for wellness care, whether that’s navigating cold and flu season more naturally, improving sleep, or building a lifestyle that supports energy and resilience.

  • We now have two locations! You can be seen in person at our offices in Brewer and Portland. We also see patients virtually, but we do recommend that our first visit be in person.

In Brewer, we are located within Kinetic Wellness at 465 S Main Street.

In Portland, we are located within the Portland Yoga Project at 449 Forest Avenue.

    Both locations have ample parking.

  • I am currently licensed in Maine. You are welcome to see me locally at my office in Portland, Maine, as well as virtually. Naturopathic doctors are sparse in some regions of the state, so I am happy to serve the communities of Bangor, Ellsworth, Lewiston, and everything in between.

  • I am not contracted with any insurance providers and I do not bill insurance directly. This allows for our visits to be based on your health goals without any limitations put in place by your insurance provider.  I am happy to provide you with a “superbill”, which is a breakdown of charges and treatment codes that you can submit to the claims department of your insurance company.

I recommend calling your insurance company to fully understand your benefits prior to your appointment. You are also welcome to use a HSA/FSA card.

Whenever we are running labs, we have the option of using insurance or cash pay billing. We will always discuss our options for this.

  • Although I have been trained as a PCP, I practice in an adjunctive care role. Primary care visits focus primarily on health maintenance, which is why I ask all patients to have an established PCP. I shine best in preventative medicine and health optimization. That being said, we can absolutely work together as an additional support network for ongoing care.
